Living Word Bible Church of Texas is excited to extend its ministries into provision of food relief for those in emergency need. Our focus will temporarily help families improve their current situation by providing “daily bread” in order for them to focus their limited incomes on other things other than meals. Families in need of relief may receive family assistance by having the head of the household complete a simple application. The food pantry will be open on Thursdays, 5-7 p.m.
Food Pantry Requirements:
Clients must live within our service area to receive food more than once.
Clients must provide photo ID and proof of address.
Kiva
Living Word Bible Church of Texas is a partner of Kiva "loans that change lives."
All profits obtained through our financial activities at Kiva are reinvested to fund new Kiva loans.
To date we have funded over 48 international and domestic loans and counting!
Women's Ministry
Living Word Bible Church of Texas Women's Ministry is devoted to strengthening women's relationships with God and one another, as well as serving each other and the community. The Women's Outreach Ministry offers exciting opportunities to grow in the Lord through studying God's word, as well as community efforts to reach out to other women and share the Gospel.
MEN'S Ministry
The Men's Ministry at Living Word Bible Church of Texas is committed to building godly men to serve Christ in their home, church, career and community. This ministry works through a variety of initiatives, events and monthly activities. The Men's Ministry places great emphasis on developing relationships in and among the men of Living Word Bible Church of Texas and the community for furthering encouragement and support of men in their walk with Christ.
CDL Ministry
At Living Word Bible Church of Texas, we hold the mission of evangelism and outreach with enormous regard. We believe there isn't anyone who should be excluded when it comes to being exposed to the good news of Jesus Christ and being shown the love of God.
The CDL Ministry, is designed to reach out to truckers who often pass through Dallas. Visiting various truck stops and sharing the good news of Christ along with providing prayer and care packages to truckers is what this ministry entails. We know the road can be lonely and sometimes treacherous for truckers. Our prayer is that through this ministry they will be encouraged on their journey.
Often times these truckers are constantly on the road and seldom have a church home. This ministry allows them to become members of our ministry and make Living Word Bible Church of Texas their church home. They have access to the Senior Pastor via email, Facetime, Skype, or telephone when the need arises in their spiritual walk.
